I seriously haven't seen anyone talk about Liverpool as title challengers, except for the manager and maybe a few players. But even then it has been along the lines of "we hope to still be in the race in April" etc. So who exactly is being over confident? I haven't read much of the British press, so are they really talking us up at the moment?

Oh I know, I just think that potentially Torres or anyone of the current squad would have to do a hell of a lot to be even compared with what Stevie has already done. Hence the comparison with Dalla Valle.
