Red Yoda

I hate the transfer window and at the same time love it. Horrible time within the season.

Agree with Bogman, if the media thought there was any possibility of it being true they would be all over it like a rash. I expect they are looking to make doubly sure before they say about Firmino being cleared of any wrong doing. Then they can hopefully slap the nasty Toffee bugger.

If said keeper has a buy out clause that is worth going to then I'm not so sure.

Has there been any comments about him being fit?

Not before time

Longer term I'd look to keep Clyne but switch Lovren in in Clyne's place, then.....Bye bye Lovren and Moreno and we then look to bring in another specific left back to compete with Robertson. Gomez hopefully can continue to progress but you also could see Matip growing in confidence again playing along side VvD. Our Defence isn't actually too far away from being very good. Two things though that we need to address is weakness with our keeper and midfielders , Keita arriving helps greatly and if we can get Goretzka over the line he would be another great improvement. TAA.....Matip.....VvD.....Robertson Clyne.Gomez...Klavan...._______

Really not surprised if true, it has looked like the expected outcome for quite a while now.

Arsenal and ourselves were both linked in the summer, from that point onwards it was being reported that Lemar was more interested in signing for ourselves rather than Arsenal. More of the same reports are doing the rounds. I think we definitely are interested in getting him in.

There's a lot of that about at the minute

Pull the finger out and get him signed!

No matter which keepers we have bought recently there has been one consistent...........the coach........literally all of the keepers standards have gone backwards while here I feel, if it was an individual keeper then ok fine but when it has basically been nearly all of them then surely that is down to the coaching . Really wish we would look to replace him.

There are incredibly few clubs who can compete with Barca and Real Madrid, the draw for players if they come calling seems to be always too much to withstand.

This seasons stats show, nearly half of his games are LM, but his best returns have been from AMC

We are always going to miss quality players but if we spend the money well, then we can improve in other ways.

Depends who we bring in.

I don't think we can replace with a like for like, but we must look to strengthen now.

It's all about how we reinvest the money.

You would assume that if the ref heard anything at all like that, said player would be immediately sent off.

I agree with your take on this. If the reports this evening are accurate then, the boss has got a devilish plan to accommodate him. I trust in JK's judgement so, happy to wait and see what transpires.

Time to get busy.......Lemar & Mahrez

Next step in the process.

..................................Karius Gomez..............Matip...........VvD.............Robertson ..............Ox.................Can.............Wijnaldum ...........Lallana...........Firmino............Ings

Has there been any recent, genuine links to Mahrez or is he a possible name just being discussed amongst ourselves?

Bye bye Coutinho, it's all down to the nitty gritty now. Approximately £140m, how much up front and how quickly can we get the remainder out of Barca.

Mahrez playing on the counter attack is a very good player, excellent pace, technique and eye for goal. He could very easily play on the right side of our attacking three. I personally don't think we will go for him as we already have Salah and Mane competing for that starting role.
