I think there is a genuine shortage of top quality strikers throughout Europe. However, I don't think this is our main problem - we need more creativity and guile in the final third.

Not entirely true. What happened was, Keane was about to take a throw and Shearer put his hand in front of him to block it. Keane responded by bouncing the ball off Shearer's head and Shearer then brought it to the attention of the ref. Keane also said something to the ref and Shearer turned to him and called him a c*** (according to his book anyhow).

What a hypocrite Ferguson is moaning about Chivu. On two occasions recently Rooney has waved an imaginary yellow card at the ref looking for a player to be booked. Ginsoak must have missed that. Not surprisingly, the commentators didn't pick up on it either.
