    Wildly optimistic, there has been one bid and nothing since for a week. There's nothing to suggest we are still talking, my guess is that the first bid was our best offer and that's the end if it.

    I don't either but they also reported a second bid and a 6m bid for Matip earlier today, neither of which are true.

    I've let myself get carried away with this signing, I'm clinging to whatever hopes I can.

    Either that or hoping that Teixeira and his reps agitate for a move and get Shaktar to budge on their asking price.

    I'm not sure he's that attractive a proposition to them really especially for the money Shaktar want, he's cup tied for the CL and they will also have FFP to think about if they are out of it next year.

    I suppose there's some sense in getting summer targets in now if we can, would give them longer to bed in and hit the ground running, especially with the disruption of Euro 2016, Copa America etc.

    We've had a second bid for Teixeira rejected, I really can't see this happening, they have nothing to gain from selling to us for anything less than their asking price.
