  4. It would be ace if he sorted out being able to sign for us then we went and signed someone else. A double f*** off to the Mancs

  7. I cant see any problem with him adapting. He is massive, strong and quick. He is also a much better reader of the game than some on here give him credit for
  8. Although Rooney could be in years to come he is currently played further forward though and Bergkamp was a very skillfull centre forward.
  9. Agreed. Excellent trio of centre halves.
  10. Premiership is too fast and strong for a classic No 10 nowadays Chelsea, Arsenal and the Mancs dont have one. We dont need one.
  11. If Torres hits the ground running with goals, the confidence and belief that would spread through the rest of the team as a result should set us up for the first 10 games. At this point id be dissapointed to see Pennant in the starting 11 at Villa. 4 - 2- 3- 1 is how i would like to see us start. Gerrard centre or right of the 3.
  12. Have heard very little about this in the press but him going to Chelsea will be interesting. I think he has been arguably the best centre half in the Champions League for the last 2 seasons. He has just had a good Copa America as a key part part of an unusualy strong Brazilian defence. Id be worried if i was Carvalho.

  16. From the Beeb Fifa says it may be prepared to step in - but the matter would first have to go through the Football Association, which oversees domestic transfers. A spokesman said: "Fifa considers the Tevez situation to be a domestic matter and therefore of the competence of the FA. "If Fifa was to receive a formal request from any of the parties involved, it would look at the matter. "However, the possibility exists that we would still determine that it is the FA who is competent to decide on the case." The FA, competent??
