I've always hated Lampard, and hated that people, even Liverpool fans, said he seems like a sound fella. This is a good day for me. All my hatred has been justified.

Most times we just a target go if the deal isn't completely on our terms. The fact we've made sure we get him by buying him early is a good sign. The scouts must really rate him. We'd normally just move on to the next on the list.
