    They had that with Drogba and we didn't in the first half. Earlier in the season it was bouncing of him or he was being beaten in the air. he's fixed that now. So so happy with him after y'day

    yeah. I said before the start of the game that that was where the hole is and that's why I couldn't see us win. looks like fred milne was right should have just gone 442 and bombed on. Still massively heartened by Carroll. That's the big thing out of this. Lad can be a force of nature.

    I can't see us winning this. They're much better than us. We have a gaping hole in midfield. We've already beaten them twice so it's their turn. Torres is due his day against us. Drogba is going to go out on a biggie. We are owed the pain of losing a cup final because we avoid it so often. We had our "cannot afford to lose this game" v Everton and the universe will realign to give their supporters somehing to cheer. WE CANNOT WIN!!

    i'm one of the few that has rated him really highly and laughed off the Platt comparisons on the basis that lampard is a class passer

    Think he's got more technical ability and a better eye for the pass. Obviously Lampard is much much better than him before anyone misinterprets this I actually think Shelvey struggled a bit y'day. not as impressive as his other displays and I'm one who really really likes him
