Maybe the sentence was ambiguous. the previews are saying that as we are apparently there for the taking, United should deviate from their usual conservatism and cut loose.

I was travelling when he played United in September 2013. I managed to avoid the score for a few hours - a little easier as I live in Switzerland and with phone off - and watched the recorded match a few hours later. Problem is I had to leave again soon after so had to condense the match to 60 minutes. I fast-forwarded most of the start and it took be about 3 minutes after resuming to notice that the score had changed to 1-0. I managed to avoid the temptation to fast-forward through final minutes and injury time though.

I still believe that we will be a better team with two more years of Klopp.The danger is this season might easily turn out to be a washout - we finish outside top 4 or even top 6 and we go out at group stage in Champions League. Then the pressure would mount from media, some disgruntled fans, maybe ex-players etc. Even if that happens, i think we'll still be a lot better next season with the addition of Keita, surely a centre half and a striker. And Klopp will have figured out a lot more. It is tough to be patient with the spectre of another year without the holy grail and Man United possibly pulling further ahead. But I think we'll get there or very close in a year or two.

Even without putting away our chances which may also be down to luck considering how often the opposition put away there's against us, if we had got rub of green in decisions there would be no offside goal for Watford, a pen v Burnley, a pen yesterday and no offside goal. That's us one point off the pace before you even consider what happened v City. Add in unlucky rebounds and deflections and woodwork hit over the past few seasons and I'm really beginning to think we're cursed. Every tackle a defender of ours makes or deflection falls straight to an opposition player in the box, while we have balls bouncing around the box after Sturridge hit post and after header from corner in second half and ball does not fall to red shirt. Seriously, after watching us since 1990 I think we are cursed, and there is no way that our luck has evened up.
