Yeah I agree, Carroll is much better than what he's showing. He just doesn't fit into our team and system. He flew the nest too soon I think, should have stayed at Newcastle for a few more years.

He was garbage last season for us. The goal ratio wasn't great but some of those performances he put in were disgraceful. Feel such an idiot for defending him too by blaming the team and Woy for not playing to his talents! Glad we got rid, especially for £50M. Just a shame we wasted most of that on Andy Carroll.

The ref f***ed us over no question but why was Maxi not in this game? He scored a hat-trick here last season, he's banging the goals in whenever he plays this season, I don't understand why Kenny doesn't play him more often. We look a much better team with Bellamy, Maxi and Suarez in the team. Carroll is just not doing enough to warrant starting ahead of Maxi.

Awful tonight. Very concerned with him now. He did well at Newcastle so he's not a bad player but he's not right in our current setup. If we get a good offer for him in January I would take it.

He's doing a triffic job with Spurs, mind. I doubt he would take the England job if offered after the Euro's. The Spurs job is actually more appealing than taking on England and the ludicrous expectations that come with having such an average team.

We will regret not signing a decent midfielder in Jan. Lucas is out, Gerrard is out (and I don't think Stevie will be fit all season), we will struggle badly unless we get quality reinforcements in the next transfer window.

I really like Spearing but he's not good enough to replace Lucas for that particular role. I'm afraid we will not be as competitive with Lucas out of the team since we have nobody to replace him. We should look to buy/loan a replacement in January.

Appalling reffing there. Bolton are going to get battered now. Chelsea wuld also have been f***ed if the ref did the right thing but Luiz survived and Chelsea went on to win. Not going to be a good day for us.
