  1. Been coming. Not the best of days for Flanno. Shows he still has a lot to learn. All part of his development, mind. BTW - GET IIIIINNNNNN STURRIDGE!!!

  3. GET IIINNNNN!!!!!
  4. I think at this stage of the season you have to stick with a winning formula. I understand that tactics need to be changed dependant upon whoever your opposition is to counteract their style of play, but our formula that's been working holds Sterling as such a pivotal part of it. Whatever he brings on the day be it pace, his overlapping, through balls - whatever, it works for us and he should not be on the bench at any point over the next 8 games, provided he's fit.
  5. In a weird way, that's a good point.
  6. Did you see how deep he was? He was tracking Campbell at all.
  7. When will people see that Agger isn't actually THAT good?
  8. Rakitic sounds ideal then. His loyalty to Sevilla is infuriating though!
  9. Definitely. I'll have a look at him anyway.
  10. BR aside - here's another question. How much of a difference do you think Pascoe is making? He seems to work with the players more regularly, he may appear like a mascot but I'd think he has a big role to play in man management and tactical knowledge.
  11. Nothing wrong with that, lad. I do that, but it's on FM. Then gain a false sense of hype over players who are probably turd in reality
  12. The one that was coincidental and the vast majority of people have never heard of, you mean?
  13. Sound. How did you come across him? Do you watch much Ligue 1?
  14. Nothing, fella. But your need to pinpoint the minor details in peoples posts becomes tiresome after a while. My opinions differ from yours, but you feel the need to pick things apart. I don't really understand why to be honest.
  15. The kitchen, why?
  16. Of course we do, but realism states otherwise. Beating Chelsea, City, Spurs and Newcastle even at home is a massive ask. I'm still in the minority though. I'd love the league, of course I would but my priority would be third/second. I was in the Kop in '02 against Ipswich and I remember how great it was to finish second but still experiencing the angst of coming 6/7 points behind Arsenal, or however many it was. I'm 26 and obviously was too young to remember us winning in 1990 but even as Brendan says the league isn't expected this year and I'll be alright with that… So long as we're third/second.
  17. You can't deny it's a tall order, surely?
  18. I think the law of averages overrules everything here. As great as we're playing right now we've not been beaten in our last 10 - with two of them being draws. To play 9 further games unbeaten is asking too much, that's a fair task for squads with the depth of City and Chelsea, that. We will drop points for sure. I can even see two further defeats but against who is anybodies guess. Regardless of how the title picture looks at the end of May we can always look back at the 13/14 season as pivotal and possibly even the most important season of the modern era.
  19. Yeah I knew he'd been injured. Didn't know it was a regular thing though, never mind. Desperately need that worldy CM though. A Masch-type.
  20. I'd much rather we went after Gundogan if we're spending big. Been linked with the mancs for a long time I know, but surely we're a more attractive proposition at the moment? - I'm possibly thinking slightly further ahead than I should be, like.
  21. Fabulous shout, that.
  22. True, although Ilori was never going to be near the squad this year and anybody who says otherwise on here are too wrapped up in their own opinions. Alberto was overpriced but, again, I'd say an investment buy - such as Ilori. The only real poor piece of business has been Aspas who hasn't been horrendous but it must be tough being an after thought as a filler for two of the best in European football. I'm still of the opinion that a lot of our kitty was over-spent on Mignolet. I like the lad, but it should have been Begovic in between the sticks for that money.
  23. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  24. The luck of Rafael today is incomprehensible. Horrible little Brazilian farm boy. Horrendous grammatical error, there...
