If its about the money im on the fence. Can understand the guy needs to sort himself for his life due to the shortness of a football career. That said, if you loves the club as much as he says then an extra 10k or whatever the problem is, which is likely to be not a great deal compared to his takings anyway, we should escort him to the exit and close the door behind him. Precedent needs set and it galls me to see all these guys who apparently live for the club, Gerrard and Carragher especially, who are on so much money, that if they say, dropped 20k each, theyd not even notice it plus the club would be in a better position to buy players and advance the club they "love".
