I think Leto displayed good understanding with Insua during preseason, less so with Riise yesterday. So I'd like to see Leto and Insua paired together more often, say, in League Cup matches.

news from the official site: Liverpool have confirmed the double captures of defender Mikel San Jose and goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi. ... ... San Jose is a Spanish centre-half who has joined the Reds from Athletic Bilbao on a three-year contract. Both players will train at Melwood and be a part of Gary Ablett's reserve team squad.

Were you referring to the current RCA Dome or the forthcoming Lucas Oil Stadium?

I can't wait for the game to kick off. I think it will be another classic. All the "experts" like Pele and SGE are picking AC Milan as favorites, more technical ability, Liverpool not as good as Man U and Chelsea, blah blah. Come on Reds, shove those comments up their a r s e s!

He's the special one alright. His team loses to Liverpool at the most special times.

I wanted Liverpool to win within the first 90minutes, but what a way to break those effing chavs' hearts.

That stupid graphic simulation is not anywhere near conclusive evidence or "proof" that the ball did not cross the line. It only raises the question of whether the ref and linesman were in the best viewing position to make the decision to award the goal. Not in best position to see DOES NOT imply goal was never scored.

EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, April 2 (Reuters) ... ... PSV are riddled with injury problems, however, for the visit of a Liverpool side who looked in fine fettle when beating Arsenal 4-1 on Saturday to go third in the Premier League. Towering Brazilian defender Alex, whose header knocked Arsenal out at The Emirates Stadium, is sidelined by injury while Ivorian striker Arouna Kone suffered a knee injury in that game and has not played since. Youngster Ibrahim Afellay, capped for the first time by the Netherlands last week, is also struggling to recover from a hamstring injury picked up during Saturday's 1-1 draw at NAC Breda -- a result that meant PSV's lead in Dutch league was trimmed to two points.

I don't want Rafa to leave, nor do I think he wants to. Look at it this way: Liverpool FC has a manager who is wanted by other *really* big clubs. Only a few other teams can claim that. (No, not Everton.) So, when I read articles like the one I have pasted below, I am proud to support Liverpool FC. ----- Benitez: It?s time for us to talk Mar 14 2007 by Chris Bascombe, Liverpool Echo RAFA BENITEZ is anxious for a swift meeting with Liverpool?s new owners as he seeks further reassurances on the future direction of the club. The manager?s request will be granted when George Gillett and Tom Hicks return to England at the end of the month, as the pair are equally eager to discuss their bold ambitions with Benitez. Rumours of an approach from Real Madrid are gathering pace, and although Benitez insists he?s happy at Anfield and wants to complete his work on Merseyside, he?s made it clear a sit down with the American owners is a priority. Madrid are understood to have made Benitez, Jose Mourinho and Gatafe?s Bernd Schuster top of their wanted list when Fabio Capello leaves, as expected, this summer....
