just restrospective perception - if we'd beaten Juventus in the final in 78 it would have more respect currently cos they're such a 'name' in European football now. But Bruges knocked them out. They were obviously a very good side. But money means now their top players wouldn't be plying their trade in that league were they around today. The new young CBs we’ve bought are gonna need some time before they’re 1st choice. We should be targeting a mid 20s PL proven CB to replace Konate. I’d go for Collins from Brentford and then it’d be no Jacquet required
