S.39 Assault covers grazes, scratches, abrasions, minor bruising, swellings, reddening of the skin, superficial cuts, black eyes so i'd suggest it was a probably slightly more than 'touching without consent' and slightly less than defenestration.
i've heard miles worse at matches than has been expressed by anyone here (not that i was at yesterday's game). as ever the phrase "f*** OFF KEWELL YOU SCHITHOUSE CN*T" readily springs to mind.
did they follow it up with "Innocent Man" by Billy Joel - if so you may be onto something. Otherwise..... i dunno...... just seems unlikely but maybe that's just me......
it was 3 points dropped. With Chelsea dropping points today and the side the Ferguson was forced to pick - that was the moment for our boys to go at them from the off today and win, instead we were as bad as we've been for ages for the first 45 and not an awful lot better in the second. STILL f***ING LIVID, I AM
We playede the fixture - i.e we appraoched it like we have done about the last 7 or 8 Man U away matches, cautiously, tentative, nervy rather than a team that has battered all and sundry for the last 3 months. it took us 45 minutes to realise they (Rooney aside) had nothing whatsoever to offer. We should have been at the cn*ts from minute one and a last minute goal from them would have been an irrelevance. Got what we deserved today. Hope we learn from it.
