  1. It's like corporate nonsense e.g. people who work for Google are Googlers. Maybe Exploiters would be a better name for the City project and their owners. State of pep trying to look like Steve Jobs. C**ts.
  2. I'm not that worried ONCE we get our top drawer midfielder in - Hendo / Fab type as we are too light in this area. Yes I'm a broken record on this topic Confident that defence and attack are as good as elsewhere (Assuming Sadio back to his best). We will require some good luck with injuries.
  3. The chances that useless c**t Werner missed last season (Glad we got Jota) Lukaku will tuck away. Far better player who is coming now in to his prime. And it not like Werner's brings Firmino levels of influence (when Bobby is at his peak) to his game in general so they are not losing alot there. Chavs would be far stronger with Lukaku.
  4. Olympics in 2024
  5. Interesting. I would love to know how much Chelsea spend on their youth team / academy squad. Bet it is a sh!t load
  6. Thiago is great with the ball not so great without it. That gives Hendo and Fab more to do. And when, not if, one of them is injured that is where our problems will start. Jones, Keita, Ox and Milner can not do the job Hendo and Fab do in our 3 man midfield setup
  7. It is not the number of midfielders we have that is the problem but the type. Fab, Hendo, Gini can all impose their will on the game and dominate opponents. Now if Hendo or Fab get injured who will replace them? I'd be very concerned if we are calling on Jones, Keita or Ox to fulfil a Fab, Hendo type role. Milner doesn't have the legs anymore
  8. LOL....."continue to strengthen from within" And here's me thinking we were giving a academy prospect a professional deal
  9. Pogba off to PSG for 100m?
  10. It is not a sexy signing we need but it is definitely someone to replace Gini and compete / complement with Hendo and Fab. That type of midfielder is the biggest gap in our squad now and needs to be filled. Saul would be perfect fit I guess. If 1 of Hendo and Fab are injured I'd be nervous starting a big game with any two of Thiago, Ox, Keita, Jones, Milner
  11. This 100%. It is a minor hurdle that can be easily overcome by off loading a coupel of fringe players. The bigger issue is 'the we don't really wanna spend any cash' hurdle.
  12. They will be better againthis season but OGS will be a limiting factor
  13. Wouldn't that be our MO now though? E.g. Vlahovic available for 45m so we'll chance our arm and offer 30m plus Origi or Shaquiri...
  14. True. Lee Clark falling out with the Newcastle youth team coach.....the domino effect
  15. Don't know too much about Bowen. But if it is a choice of selling Divock (Thanks for the special memories) and Sharquri and buying Bowen and promoting Elliot to a more prominent attacking back up role I'd opt for the latter. More X factor and something different with Elliot and Bowen (Or someone similar). I'd imagine the transfer fees and wage savings would cover the new signing so FSG would be estatic too!
  16. So you believe one of the biggest football clubs in the world may have better expertise and ability at signing players than a bunch of randomers on an internet forum? I think you may be right there
  17. Given Alission's injury record and Kelleher's inexperience, an experienced 3rd choice keeper is the right move IMO and Karius can't play for Liverpool again given what happened.
  18. Nor for me. We need two top class Hendo and Fab types in there covering the ground esp as Thiago will make up the 3rd now and as talented as he is on the ball, he seems to cover far less ground / less mobile / less pace than Gini had. Hendo and fab generally play 70-75% of league games so we need another to rotate with those two. Milners legs are pretty much gone and Keita, Jones Ox, are more in the Thiago kind of role in that they offer something different in theory (but far less talented of course ).
  19. True. But Mane was woeful last season apart from early on. Bobby was poor for 2/3 thirds of season and has a habit of going off the boil for logish periods. Jota looks good but we are still not sure if he can do it consistently. There is a lot of uncertainty with Bobby and Sadio at the moment which leaves us over reliant on Salah and to a lesser extent Jota. I'd still bet we will start the season with them as out front 4 attacking options. Maybe Elliot and Origi as backup
  20. F**K me have FSG lost the run of themselves.... Throwing around new contracts like confetti Probably just trying to make amends after the Superleague controversy
  21. I'm stuggling to understand how the f**k iChelsea winning it any better than city? People loving the fact city lose it but the chavs c**ts win it!!! They are the f**king same thing . Or is this 'good news' in the year 2020 Pep has credit in my bank due to 09 and 11 when they defeated the Mancs. Imagine them having 5.... Maybe becuase Im Irish it is a proximity thing to the blue side of Manchester
  22. Tough choice but was hoping city would win so it would take the hunger out of them for next season
  23. £45mi.
  24. Is there much difference in standard between U18 and U23 (PL2) level ?
  25. As annoying as the City loads of money thing is.....I find it hard for me as a fan of one of the worlds richest clubs to moan about it. Our resources are a good bit more significant than most other clubs. What is the right amount of money / budget? Hypothetical situation: If UEFA/PL bring in strict controls that clubs can only spend a max of 50 million so we are now level with all other PL clubs is that what we want? :runs for cover:
