Defo think we've missed Hendo, he helps us raise the tempo. We looked a little lost once the game settled into their pattern and didn't know whether to go all out or be patient, not sure we did either tho. f*** it, history now just win our games and keep pressure on

Agree 100% about squad depth, think it finally bit us on the bum today.

Think we let their tactics get to us and we lacked that creative spark. I'd say a bit of naiveity more than anything to do with tactics. It happens, it's how we deal with the poor results than when everything is going our way.

We've got this close from 7th last season playing this way so far. Don't think there's anything wrong with our approach, just a s*** day.

Yup, will be devastating after being so close but still so many positives to take out of this season. I was expecting a 4th place race.

Yep, and they were excellent at it. We've smashed so many teams with high tempo football this season, we were always going to hit a brick wall at some stage. It's how we respond now. Not over yet and whatever happens a fantastic season from where we were last season but I doubt we'll get a better chance for a long time. Frustrating but CL footie and more progress will ease the pain.

Chelsea were excellent and frustrated us out of our rhythm from the off. Got to learn quickly from it and re focus.
