Think we'd have struggled in any group. Just don't see goals in the side and it's down to the manager's mentality. Loads in the press saying we played expansive football, I just thought it was a disjointed mess with no real pattern. Just been reading a few journo's on twitter and there's talk of Hodgson laying the foundations for the future. Heard it a million times before and often with better managers than him in place.

Thought we played well in patches but experience beat youth. If we're going out at least keep the young lads in and same approach. If he's not up to a striker role he needs dropping.
