Good point about Luis himself, have to see how this affects him personally tho he's a strong character and will want to prove people wrong.

If that happens great but I can't see there being no action from the club, PR and all that. The witchunt will be relentless and if he stays we don't want it derailing our season. That said he's such a huge asset, on and off the pitch, it's also likely the club won't give two s****s about what he did and will try and smooth things over quickly. The negative press helps us keep him for sure.

Don't think it's the act of biting that's the main issue, tho he's obviously got a taste for it now arf, but the repercussions for the club and season ahead. I think he'll get a long ban from FIFA and it puts the club and Brendan in an impossible position as they will have to impose their own punishment. Could be a chance that he'll miss a lot of games again and it f***s our season up. Just a stupid and selfish thing to do.

It matters to me because he represents LFC. No manager or board in the past would have stood for that sort of behaviour, certainly twice.

True and I'm not sure if the punishment will affect us at all but there'll be huge pressure on the club to act after last time.

The there's no one else argument is a load of toss. Firstly the FA probably just don't want to hand out another huge settlement and Hodgson is very media friendly which is top of the agenda for the sponsors. I think they need to get bladderd by Costa Rica and leave with a major reality check but the hype will just start over again August. Maybe one day someone with vision and a football brain will oversee what needs to be done at all levels but it won't happen as long as our game is run by faceless, self serving masonic types.
