AC is actually really good with the ball close.he's not not just a big "target" man, as he showed us in the last 7 or 8 games. I have been very impressed at how good he he is with the ball at his feet -

Yep, totally agree. There will never be another Bill Shankly, or Bob Paisley, but I love his aggresssive stance. And the general appoacch of pressing and always having a player to pass to. -

Not quite Andy, but there are links betwen Swansea and LFC, rememebr Toshack and Smith? I went 5 years before i saw us lose at Anfield, 2-1 against Red Star Belgrade, and probably another ten before it happened again. We lost plenty at home this year (Including f***ing Swansea) But I was very impressed with Valencia a few years ago; brilliant football, brilliant coach/manager. Brendan Rodgers. I reallly like this guy, he has guts, knowledge and a great attitute. I said it before: pass and move it's his forte. We will win the Premiership within 3 years (based on nothing). Caroll, Suarez, Agger, Pepe, Maxi and Stevie will do well under his style. -

I'm feeling very comfortable- Brendan talks like Shanks, seems to think like Shanks ( Son you can run , but I can pass the ball faster than you will ever run). When we have the ball they cant score. And he GETS ANFIELD. What a f***in comment from a Chelsea assistant: " they had never experienced support like that night", we need to get committed and behind him! "The Chelsea players said they had never experienced support like that night," the Liverpool manager reflected. "That was ultimately what won the game and that is what I want to do here. I want to use the incredible support to make coming to Anfield the longest 90 minutes of an opponent's life. That's the idea. I want to see this great attacking football with creativity and imagination, with relentless pressing of the ball. I know what it's like because I had a team like that at Swansea. When people came to Swansea it was probably the longest 90 minutes of their life. So after 10 minutes when they hadn't had a touch of the ball they are looking at the clock and seeing only 10 minutes had gone. It's a long afternoon." -

OMG that is great to watch. under Shanks and bob it was always the way, that the man on the ball had to have two options. Pass and move , open yourself up, be available. We have been far too static in the last five years, I heve been screaming at times with 5 players within 10 yards of the ball and no-one moving. Swansea had a great PASS AND MOVE game which is so us, i hope that B Rodgers can bring that back. I fu**cking love his quiet and aggressive disposition. I think he can get our guys moving. Love Kenny, and I think Kenny will love this guy -

Gerrard, on England duty, registered his approval. "I've been kept in the loop all along by the board and the owners, and he was first-choice so take no notice of Dave Whelan," said Gerrard -
Totally agree

Half right, grew up in Liverpool (Scottie Road and Canny Farm) and now lived in Florida for the last four years, thus the Sun. But it had never occured to me what the other interpretation could be, just realised.

Wow, Can't believe that I've caught up with the thread, scared of going out now in case I fall behind again

manages to get both sets of studs into the back of Andys calf having been airborne for 5 yards. terrible, terrible tackle you don't expect professionals to do that. As for the question the commentators wre asking "why is he holding his face when he got hit in the chest" (throat actually). Why do players hold their face when they get kicked in the thigh, knee etc? cos it fooking hurts thats why

Totally agree with your Missus there and said so at the time. He could also have gotten out that he would accept Evras apology for his previous comment regading Luis' sisters private parts and the fact he was a "South American" which is itself obviously discrimanatory.

'As 'Arrys being flown in direct from his court case will we hear that old classic: "Going down, going down going down"?

Why has nobody picked Robbie Fowler as Jesus's dad???

How can the OG be offside, even if Luis was offside when the ball was played, he never touched it.

I nicked this from a link by another poster but was so impressed I wanted to give it it's own thread We had 22 points from 20 games when Kenny took over, which after 36 games would give us pro-rata 39.6 points now. Jostling for 15th - 16th with Blackburn and Birmingham. Oh what a difference he has made. Like everyone else on this board (well most) I really look forward to every match now. And during this period we have taken 11 from a possible 13 from the top four.
