Yep, if you go back and look at the player of the season thread iirc Sterling was well ahead around the New Year and after that he only made the top three once more before the end of the season. I think this thread is the best barometer of any players performance as its voted on contemporaneously by supporters who are passionate for their team. So.. the little tw.at stopped playing for Liverpool round about the time his di.ck of an agent started telling him he was going to city who were going to pay him a million a week, so don't try too hard and for gods sake dont get injured, I make 5 mill from this. Shame he wanted to leave because hes very talented but as soon as his head wasnt in it for us he had to go, the club did well all things considered, his performances in the second half of the season didn't justify half of his fee, but the first half certainly did justify all of it. Hope he plays for City like he did in the second half of the season for us, gets busted for doing crack on the bbc and loses all his money in a ponsi scheme. But no hard feelings Raheem, you are too good and too big for a little club like Liverpool.. So good riddance.

Just looking at the table again and reading the speculation on whether we will win the title or not it occurred to me to think of the remainder of the season with the following numbers in mind, gives you a bunch of little steps. Assuming everyone else wins every game (impossible because there are matches within the top 7) and equal points puts us ahead on GD Then: 1 more pt we beat MANU 3 more pts we beat Spurs 10 more points we beat Everton 11 more we beat Arsenal; 3rd place guaranteed Man City possible max 91 pts Chelsea possible max 87 pts Us max possible 89 Three points at a time!

Looking at that clip again, Coates is right on the corner of the six yard box when he heads it down and Suarez is outside the 6 yd box so the ball was played backwards - another good reason it wasn't offside
