Megson Out

Recommended Posts

1. Do you remember the animosity between the clubs in the late 70's early 80's?

2. Do you remember when we were robbed by them in the League Cup Final

3. Did you ever go to the City Ground in the 80's?

4. Do you remember Coughs Hillsborough comments?

Try living in the area. Not as bad now that Clough has long since gone and they've been on the slippery slope for years but growing up in the area as a Liverpool fan...you needed some cojones.

Feck knows how i managed it then...

But, er, Megson - been on the cards for ages but I'm surprsied they've done it now with a fairly short distance to run till the end of the season and no real danger of relegation.

That's probably why - new man gets a chance to look at what he's got before the transfer window opens

Bloke from work just told me that. Hes been wanting him out for a while. I actually thought he would be decent for them when he took the job. Fans want Nigel Clough apparently.

Not going to happen Nigels being groomed for biger things ;)

True but Nigel's a good manager who has a very level head.

even in defeat our under 9's beat his sons team on saturday 4.1 but he hates refs big time

The sad thing about Megson is he lost his job because of the idiots in the team refused to obey his rules and thats why Forest are where they are (and I love it because Forest have a chip on there shoulder as big as Everton)

this is what he instructed the team to do

All players must turn up for training at 9am not 10am and twice a week they had to do an afternoon tactics training session

All players must leave phones in the changing room and not bring them onto trainig pitch

All players must wear shirt and blazers to all away games

No drinking 2 nights before a match

Sound familiar

seems most of the squad are happy to earn there money and enjoy the life style thats why he left and fair play to him you can't fix something that does not want to be fixed

There is supposedly a spy in the camp at Forest. Ronnie Moore knew the exact team selection and the tactics discussed before Oldham played Forest the other night and told Megson what he knew as soon as he arrived at the ground.

Not the first time it has happened either this season from what is doing the rounds down here.

Where'd you hear that? Interesting stuff

Amazing stuff, wonder if it'll reach the papers. If it's provable there could be a few lifetime bans getting handed out. Strange the way it's gone for Forest, I knew a lad in their youth set-up a few years back, they had a conveyor belt of talent coming through when Paul Hart was in charge of the academy but it all fell apart when he became manager.

We should get him to head up our academy, he has some track record for bringing through talent.

It was hinted at in the Express I think on Friday.
