I worked for The Tote in Wigan for a year. Seldom ventured farther afield than the local ASDA though, or the occasional walk into the town centre for a pie at lunchtime. =)

wigan people are odd but its a quality night out with loads of good bars.

Reeking of Booze Britain. Wigan has more free weight gyms than any other town in the country. Meat heads everyhwere kicking off cos the steroids have sent them loopy.

 

Wigan is a funny old place. Very much a small town mentality. The accent alone is enough entertainment.
