The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune

[Bootser]

Tuesday 1st July. The youngest daughter in the Bootser household graduated from Queens University Belfast with a degree in Computer Science. (That’s 3 of them!). We had a cracking afternoon, evening, night; lovely meal and then hip hopping the best of pubs in the town centre. Bloody loved it.

Wednesday 2nd July. Wife diagnosed with breast cancer. Caught early as Mrs Bootser, being a nurse, attended screenings regularly. 

I am a born clown for Tuesdays but am at a loss as to how to react to Wednesdays. Faux positivity has been shot down and maudlin sentimentality is out of the question. How to react??
 

Never have I needed advice more than now. From experience I know that you bunch of bastids can provide it.
