The Beatles

Recommended Posts

Radio 2 has a load of Beatles shows and stuff on it at the moment presumably something to do with Abbey Road's 50th.

Dave Grohl My Beatles: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07ky6m7

Lots of other stuff, some of it not presented by annoying people: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p07ktp01/episodes/player

My 4 year old daughter's two favourite Beatles tracks are Hey Jude and Strawberry Fields. So she would agree with this

I'd go with Help

Paperback Writer shouldn’t make the top 3. Sorry for stating the obvious here.

I think it should. Also, put Ticket to Ride at No 2 and drop Hey Jude down the list somewhere.

And anyway Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby was a double A side wasn't it?

Paperback Writer/Rain is a much stronger single than SFF/PL. Day Tripper/WCWIO too.

Penny Lane is the weak link compared to other's flip side.

I disagree - I think Penny Lane is glorious.

Rain is my favourite though.

Defo a contender in an impossible list.

Help is one of my least favourite Beatles songs. True story.

The first ever song to my knowledge that broached mental health.

Yeah I remember finally hearing it years ago and wondering a little what the fuss was about.
