If they are doing it you have to suspect other manufacturers are. How have they got away with it for so long, surely a device should be relatively easy to detect in test conditions? Have the regulators in Europe known about it and turned a blind eye as they are so wedded to diesel engines to meet their CO2 targets? Could get very messy this.
