The quiet before the storm that is Black Friday, which actually begins this afternoon in many of the bigger stores.

 

Big screen TV's at ridiculous prices all over the place.

But for the fact that it seems the phrase "black Friday" is entering the patter of the retailers in the UK, I'd not have known it was Thanksgiving. And wifey holds a US passport

(as she's too damn lazy to take the UK citizenship test - well, not too lazy, but too short of time and can think of no possible reason - other than the test - to discover how many members there are of the Welsh Assembly (it's a question!)).
