Things you didn't expect

The reason I'm at home today is that we have one major and three minor plumbing problems so I booked a plumber a few days ago and they said they'd be here today. One came round at half eight this morning. From the phone call onwards, it's been very odd as it sounded like a young girl calling for directions to the house. I assumed she was the company secretary or something but no, the same young girl knocked on the door wearing overalls and carrying a plumber's tool-kit. She is about 5 foot two and looks like she's about 15 and I'm not kidding.

I expected her to say she was the assitant or something but she asked to be shown the jobs and she's got on with them herself and it has to be said, she is extremely good at the plumbing lark.

I know it sounds like the set-up to a joke or funny story but swear this is absolutely true and totally unexpected. It's an established plumbing company and this girl is obviously well thought of as she's done three of the four jobs so far and although I don't know much about plumbing, she asked me to inspect them and all the faults have been sorted and all working brilliantly. It's very, very strange!
