60's sci fi / disaster film with a very early appearance from Michael Caine as a policeman. Think i first watched it back in the 80's as part of those Sci Fi Film Festival features that were on BBC2 at 6pm - Silent Running was another.

James Wilby, Susannah York and Imogen Stubbs. Good cast, good film, no f***** has seen it.
