Hate the 'premier league / sky' era b******s but since football started right there and then this has to be the worst day since then:

- We get beat by f***ing owl face and play complete dogs*** in doing so getting beat by a dodgy pen in the last few mins despite taking the lead and mess up any chance we had of getting back in the champs league despite spurs messing up too

- Then c**** come back from 2-0 down at half time to win 4-2 to edge closer to number 19 with that fake blue nose t*** scoring a hatrick (I went the pub for one pint and seen all three)

- Chelsea prove they are not gonna catch them even if they beat them at the toilet

- Arsenal again prove what we already knew and f*** up any real chance they have of catching them when they were the only real ones who could, spineless pricks

What a s**** day

Was just thinking the very bloody same when I logged on to see the Arsenal result there a few mins ago. Gawd what a gutting, galling afternoon. (Here I spare a thought for RoryFitzgerald who suffered the added insult of spunking away fifty nicker on us beating the baggies)

We are in good shape. This time last season we were in serious financial trouble and being run by 2 crooks who would have done anything to the club to get a profit.

I'm not that concerned that Man U are winning the league this year. They have been on the road to taking that record for a long time now. Whats important is that we get our house in order and build a club capable of winning titles. I have every confidence in the board, the owners and the manager to get us competing for the league next season.

Well done lad! Great post.

Took me an hour to explain that perspective to a mate on an IM today.

Agree with it all.

When they beat Villa at OT? I hear you.

The day I lost hope of the league.

To go from that Fulham win to such a low in 24 hours was an unreal blow. The manner they won made it evident nobody else was winning the league that year.

Spurs a few weeks later was as bad. Cherry on top of a cake of s***.

The is how I am trying to see it. The way the media is continually playing the Hodgson fiasco is galling but predictable, but the decks are now clear for next season and things will be very different. The only cloud on the horizon is the failure of FSG to sort out the managerial appointment, the evidence that Dalglish is the best fit for the club is now compelling.and I see the continuing delay as an unintentional undermining of his position.
