Hi,

Does anyone know which is the best value, using a an Oyster card Vs Weekend Tube Pass London.

In Landan next weekend and I always usually get a Weekend pass and find it great value.

However the world and its dog is goin on about this oyster card, but from the information I can garner it seems to be suited towards single fairs???

No such thing as a weekend pass is there?

There's off-peak daily travelcards, which are start at around a fiver for zones 1-2.

Oyster's good for single journeys on bus or tube, but if you're doing more than 4 journeys in a day, then it's not worth it, you may as well get a travelcard.

Pretty sure I'm right in saying that even if you dnt have a travel card on your Oyster and use it for lots if single jouirneys, the maximum amount taken from your Oyster will be equivalent to a day travelcard.

i.e. if you travel x many singles that add up to £10 - you'll only pay for a £7.50 travelcard.
