The article is purely a 'reporting' piece with little condemnation of Ferguson until you get to the end when the piece shows the rants that Ferguson has engaged in. To be honest, I was disappointed at how short this section was.

 

But at least it backs up Rafa's fahcts from last January - Ferguson is a coniving sh!* that doesnt get the same punishment that his peers would get if they ever lowered themselves to that level

I'm only just thinking now.

 

Has it taken a week so that Ferguson makes the statement on a Saturday so that it gets full coverage in a Sunday paper edition when there is no Prem action. We all know that Int ball is boring.

 

Is Ferguson and his advisiors thinking that the timing of this apology get full coverage in the media, make it look like an apology with lots of exposure and then get away with a lesser/no punishment.

 

When you think about it, there is little to report in the sport section of a paper over an int weekend. The more I think about it then the more I think this is so contrived. He wants max media exposure to dim down his punishment when in actual fahct, he hasnt really apoligised at all !!!!!!!!!!!

look at the thread in the general forum, its common knowledge that despite repeating the same comment, disguised as an apology, the FA will not do anything.

 

I actually think its the FA who are at fault, because they don't have the balls to stand up to the mancs. Until they do, the game will remain corrupt as it is now, because the FA is in effect run by the mancs who can pick and choose and get away with too much.
