Rotation!

Sir Alex's biggest problem today was HIS "rotation." He gave a "well needed rest" to Giggs, Scholes and Berbatov(?), yet not one pundit questioned "his" rotation. If that were Rafa, and he sat key starters, the pundits (and a certain percentage of our "supporters"), would have buried Rafa.

 

Of course we didn't have Alonso and Arbeloa (for different reasons), but put a 4-1 beating on the Mancs at Old Trafford anyway. Rafa has made some mistakes and our players have to take some of the responsibility for many of our home draws, but when Torres and Gerrard are healthy, we are the best side in this league.

Just basing it on doing the double over ManU and Chelsea! If they are the other two "top sides", and we've played a great deal of the year without a healthy Torres, well probably not "carried away" although there is room for debate!

I definitely heard Gray criticise Rafa for brining in Lucas just after they scored. I am not sure if he thought he should have played Xabi in a cast or a wheelchair though.
