Nerik Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 .........which can give you what the Premiership table looked like on a certain date? e.g. if I want to go back and compare our points and position with how it was 1yr ago, 2yrs ago, 5yrs ago etc. on the same day of the year.

Not sure however I do know what our points total was after 16 games under Rafa.... 2004/05 24pts2005/06 34pts2006/07 25pts2007/08 30pts2008/09 37pts So we are 3pts better off than we were in 2005/06, Rafa best League season to date.

It's in Norwegian, but you should be able to work it out http://www.nifs.no/tabell.php?h2hskjul=1&a...p;u=&visou= That link is also the only good thing Kaizer contributed to this site by the way
Nerik Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 That's what I've been looking for Maldini. Thanks a million. Been wanting to make a news item on bOOTroom to compare the current season to other seasons and that is an excellent data source. Whilst this season may go belly up in the end only in 05/06 were we nearly as good BUT then Chelsea had 43pts at this stage. also comparisons to 02/03 are a non-starter as at this time that season we were in the middle of a horrible run and with some 31-32pts.
Maldini Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Yeah, we had a pretty good start last season, then for the months of December and January we got 13 points from 30 and our season collapsed. Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.
