Album of the year recommendations

[Will]

It's time for me to snap up a few albums to either plug the gaps in my music buying this year, and/or as Christmas gifts for some mates, and I am looking to the forum to provide me with some inspiration. Albums I have certainly been enjoying this year (in no particular order) to a greater or lesser extent include:

Amsterdam - Arm In Arm

Half Man Half Biscuit - CSI: Ambleside

Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago

Beach House - Devotion

Clinic - Do It!

Edwyn Collins - Home Again

Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid

Robert Forster - The Evangelist

Glasvegas - Glasvegas

The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age Of The Understatement

The Maybes? - Promise

Cat Power - Jukebox

The Rascals - Rascalize

School Of Language - Sea From Shore

Silver Jews - Lookout Mountain, Lookout Sea

These New Puritans - Beat Pyramid

The Week That Was - The Week That Was

Wild Beasts - Limbo, Panto

So give me some other ideas, please!
