[Sir Tokyo Sexwale]

saw it last night. Now, while I consider musicals to be the bastion of all evil in the world - and it sounds like Tim Burton does too, from the DVD extras - this was pretty good. More an Opera in my opinion than a straight up musical.

 

Depp was excellent as was the ambience of the film. I have to say that I was most impressed with the singing - as all the actors did their own.

 

Well worth six out of ten
