Phil Neal nomination

Should anyone have the time or inclination, I would request your support in the nomination for Phil Neal to receive an MBE.

 

Not only a true LFC Legend, but a true football legend and I believe it only right that in the day of - every footballer who scores a hat-trick getting an Honour - that the most successful English player (trophies, consecutive appearances, etc) be honoured, even in the smallest way.

and even if one did believe in this 'honours' system its all a bit self indulgent in my opinion.

 

to go petitioning for one for someone about 20yrs after is also a waste of time, surely there are better things to do, and loads of other players would deserve one if phil neal does.

 

 

hes not exactly known for volunteering his time and effort for free so dont bother wasting your time on this. ( i stand to be corrected on this point, but im only going on what ive gathered on here over the years)

 

as someone rightly said, hes won all he needs to win. id rather have his medals than the crown of england on my head, let alone a bloody MBE
