If I heard the news story on the radio right (Boris Johnson reversing Ken Livingstone's plans to close 40 tube station ticket offices), we now have an 'old-fashioned' Tory reversing the actions of an 'old Labour' ex-Mayor, and being totally backed by the transport unions.

 

What is going on? Did I really hear that right?
