Of which the most significant bit is probably:

"You won't need to send any money now – as and when we're in a position to buy shares in Liverpool Football Club, we'll send out a call for a non-refundable deposit (or a "part-paid share") – probably for £500. Once you pay, you (or your group) will then be a member of the ShareLiverpoolFC society, with an obligation to pay the remainder of the £5000 if and when we need it. If you can't, or don't want to pay the full amount at that point then you would cease to be a member."

Genuine question:

Why would the deposit be non-refundable when in their own words there would still be an 'if' over whether not they would actually ever need the rest of the money (which presumably means that it would still not be certain whether or not they would actually be buying any shares)?

Is it just poorly worded? Because otherwise I can't see too many people forking out £500 when there is a possibility that it won't guarantee that a share actually will be theirs (as opposed to guarantee theeir right to a shae should they become available).

Very good point. It reads like some sort of pyramid timeshare scam. What would happen to all the money people had given if a takeover failed?

Bit surprised to see a banner there advertising the new home shirt.

thats clearly not the proper site, just some rogue trying to make a few quid from people googling.

wonder if duncan oldham comes up on the WHOIS.

Did think it looked a bit odd, second banner down I think gives a link to the official site.
