Liverpoolfc.tv and LFC TV, the official website and TV channel of Liverpool Football Club, are looking for three talented individuals to fill three full-time positions this summer.

Liverpoolfc.tv, the UK's most visited football club website, is looking for a fully qualified journalist with an in-depth knowledge of Liverpool Football Club's proud history to work with the existing editorial team to generate compelling and innovative content for the millions of supporters who visit the website each month.

 

As well as a new journalist, Liverpoolfc.tv is also looking for an Audio/Video Content Producer. The successful applicant will have experience of lighting and filming interviews, Final-Cut Pro editing skills and a good appreciation of video and audio encoding technologies amongst other attributes.

 

Finally, LFC TV, the official club channel launched in September 2007, is looking for a new full-time Researcher to assist the production team with all aspects of programme making. The successful candidate will be creative, have a passion for Liverpool Football Club, experience of working in a TV environment and be willing to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

My son had the reacher job uptill the end of May when he left to travel around the world for a year. He started last august and he loved every minute of it he had already put off going around the world once because he did not want to leave the job. If he had not gone now he would have lost his money it killed him to leave I know it was a very hard decision but he had saved up for 3 years and if he had not gone now he would never go. When he took the job he did take a pay cut but he loved every single minute. It was his dream job. The staff are brilliant both from the tv and web site it is like 1 big happy family. He even got to play on anfield against the coaches who go around the schools he has that on dvd and I think it will be precious to him for ever. The coach's won about 10 2 I think.He is really enjoying his trip by the way but really hopes if their are any jobs going when he returns home they will take him back. Forgot to say the work dam hard and long hours

Sorry about my spelling in the last post. Fyds it was not just the trip because when he put it off in oct he very nearly lost his girfriend and if he had put it off again I think he would off. Seeing he was the one who talked her into going around the world to begin with he did not want to take that chance. To be honest he did not really get much information I think the people at the web site and tv are the last to know anything. He did get snippets of gossip from xplayers but nothing of much interest. He also used to go for a drink with some of the xplayers after they had been on the show wich he loved. As the pay was not up too much and he was also working in bar to save for this trip if he had lost the money he had paid he would never have been able to save again

i met him on his leaving doo!.. i can't remember his name though i do remember he looked snazzy in his t-shirt and waistcoat combo! he's going/gone away with his girl isn't he? he's comes across as a good lad..

i've a couple of mate's who work for the website and the tv channel.. i was there to meet one of them who was still out.. i got intoduced to Mark then.. i didn't stick around too long though - they were going onto Heebie Jeebie's or somewhere and i thought i'd swerve that!
