Newspapers make "unprecedented" apology

I am not making any comment on the McCann case itself, but its good to see the tabloid media's lying ways called to book.

 

The Daily Star was arguably worse in its Hillsborough coverage - some very nasty embellishments over and above the Sun's lies. I have always hated them just as much, and find it a bit frustrating that they escape as much criticism for it as the Sun.

 

The Express is a nasty, pompous little rag as well.
