Looking to buy a digital camera! Have not got a clue about them

 

Im looking for at least a 8mp camera, compact and im looking to pay upto £150 (but willing to stretch a tiny bit more if it would get me an excellent camera)

 

Just by quickly browsing the internet it seems like Panasonic Lumix cameras with the Leica lens??

Is the one to go for?

 

Any other recommendations?
