It's now come to a point where I am contemplating wanting Inter to beat us as if we progress further in this years' CL it may mean that LFC has another boring sterile season under Rafa.

Even if we "get knocked out on Tuesday" I think Rafa should have one more season to sort us out. I don't think we can solely blame the ownership shenagins for the season to date, but his overall record justifies another hassle free season with us IMO.

The biggest topic of conversation on these boards all season has been the ownership of the club. We can't expect things to run smoothly on the field with what is going on off it. How the hell can Rafa manage properly when he is constantly fearing a knife in his back from the owners, with the press constantly sharpening the blade and egging them on? We have heard non stop about massive, record breaking funds, but in reality seen little in the way of hard cash.

 

I wish we would all just give Rafa one bloody season where he is properly funded and supported and allowed to do his job in peace and then judge him!

Unfortunately I do. Regardless of what G&H do off the park, they cannot be held responsible for the constant s*** on the park.

 

I really believe now that the players have no confidence in Rafa, I believe he has lost them for the simple reason is that there is no fight out there, no passion, no guile, no skill. If the players are 'doing it for Rafa' then I would hate to see them when they are not.
