At Noon on Saturday we're holding at a massive meeting at The Olympia on West Derby Road.

We want as many there as possible, bring flags, bring banners, bring ideas. Despite the rumours flying around the aims remain the same - to get Hicks and Gillett out of LFC, and to get a genuinely representative collective voice together to speak for Liverpool supporters.

We can't emphasise the extent to which we want your support and your input. The bar will also be open.

Please put this on any other forums you visit.

Neil Atkinson.

This just a bouncing of ideas meeting?

What are the banners about? (purpose with Saturday's game in mind, not content)

Bring any banners you like.

It's about setting things up and getting more ideas flowing.

I might have sufficent enough brain to have something written by tonight's end.

As a loyal American Liverpool supporter i would like to apologize for the two American Idiots that are running our beloved Reds! I strongly believe that we need new owners. I am also hopefull that all you Liverpool fans actually in Liverpool and abroad throughout Europe wont think of us Americans as ignorant stupid people who dont know s*** about football! I love Liverpool i have since i was a baby, and i am truly sad that our Owners make us look like stupid ignorant c***s

Sons Of Shankly - Liverpool Supporters Union

Saturday. The Olympia. Noon

If you can get there, you should be there.

You could say you should be there to work out how we get shut of the hideous Hicks and Gillett pairing, dooming the football club to debt upon debt, mismanagement and broken promises.

You could say you should be there if you want to capture the moment when Liverpool FC's first attempt at a Socio arrangement began. You could say you should be there if you want that attempt to work.

You could say you should be there to find out how we're looking at sorting out cheaper travel to and from games; how we want to put pressure on the football club to take action over the ticket office; how if we use our collective strength we can force change for the better at our football club.

You could say you should be there to speak out about what's happening to the national game as it pursues every currency under the sun until its grassroots support squeaks.

You could say you should be there to tell us what we haven't thought of yet - ways to represent and help every Red the world over and bring the club back to the people.

There's a lot to say. There's one place to be:

The Olympia

99 West Derby Road

Noon

Saturday 16th February

Bring your banners, bring your colours but most of all, bring your voice.

I'm home but too drunk to make any sense so we'll talk tomorrow KH

Machac13: thanks for those thoughts. It's natural that some supposed anti-American feeling might creep in but I wouldn't take it too seriously

can only speak for myself and every single LFC supporter that I know personally: there is no anti-American feeling from us, just anti G and H feeling

Hey thanks for those comments! I just want the world to know that i love Liverpool FC and even though i am in the US i still feel like i am part of the team! Hicks needs to go no doubt. His teams in America can't even win so why would Liverpool be any different! If we want to win the league again we need to get rid of Hicks!

Well said that man. For the record, Gillette and Hicks are as far removed from idiots and stupid as you can get but they are as we suspected and now know, a pair of sharks with no love for our club nor interest in our heritage or long term future. But it's not an 'American' thing, you're very welcome.

apparently very well but I couldn't go as it was my son's birthday

Fair play.

Hopefully we should hear some stuff out of the media soon.

It went really well Ant. A credit to all involved.

Fantastic display of banners on the first floor balconies, a full house on the ground floor, really impressive turnout.

Nicky Allt was an excellent chairman, relaxed, funny and kept things moving.

Jay Mclennan (sp?) spoke passionately about direct action, boycotting the club shop etc. Well received.

Rogen Taylor gave some background to the ShareLFC proposal. He got a great reception and some good points were made in the feedback about the level at which the offer was pitched.

Knox gave a brilliant speech, hit all the right notes, A scouse Danton.

The aims and objectives of the LSU were strongly endorsed by a show of hands. I had to get off but the last I saw a large number of those present joined a march to the ground.

To be honest the worst part of getting knocked out today is that attention will be taken away from the formation of a new voice for LFC fans. However its a marathon not a sprint.

Well done to everyone involved.
