Frosty Jack Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 We looked a lot more likely to score when he came on, as it was before the injury. hope he stays fit.Babel wide left is frustrating, he had a few moments last night, but he'd be much more useful too us played off Torres or on the right.
The_Adder Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Agreed. Bring back Gonzales! On the right he looks good, would like to see him upfront, reckon he could be very dangerous. Hes got 'it' whatever that is, needs to be told what to do with 'it' though. I like Aurelio, I would have loved to have seen us with Aurelio at left back and Alves at right back when we were in for him

yellow jumper Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 really top quality player. hopefully he can stay fit now.
_00_deathscar Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Thats there problem Maybe, but it's not their problem.
Alonso Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 So Aurelio to start at LB or LW? If he starts at LW do you play Babel on the right or keep Pennant out there? Against the weaker teams I'd like to see Aurelio at LB where he has less defending to do as there are still questions over his defensive abilities consistently against the better teams (IMO).
MickeyDocs Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Great to see Aurelio back and hopefully he can have an injury free run. He is such a cultured player that can add a different option to Riise and Arbeloa (poor last two games) at lb, and is also a good option from lm. Amazing he is back before Kewell.
CarraLegend Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Amazing he is back before Kewell. I'd actually totally forgot about him this time, usually im desperate for him to get back but this time he's barely even registered, probably because we've been doing so well so theres been no massive need to have him. Cant remember if it was Rafa or Bascombe saying he was "out for 10 days". Its a f***ing long 10 days, thats for sure.
Bo Benn Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Amazing he is back before Kewell. I really don't find that amazing at all
fred milne Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 So Aurelio to start at LB or LW?If he plays, its gotta be at LB where he started to look a player before his injury. (I always thought he looked lost in midfield.) His fitness record is still a big concern, though.
Bo Benn Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Fabio to start on saturday? I wouldn't mind giving Finnan a rest. Aurelio's early crosses could potentially break Brum alone.
