Elbow Problem

Fell off my bike the other day and landed on my side and elbow. My chest hurt afterwards but yesterday my elbow swelled up and a friend, who's a nurse, said she thinks I might have chipped the bone. You can feel what might be a bit of bone floating in the area that's swollen. She said it'd probably sort itself out, but now I've got pins and needles in the hand on that arm. aAnyone had anything similar happen and do you reckon I need to see a doc?
