what a c***

he has qualified for a ticket......I mailed him yesterday to see if he had and he replied saying yes.....

I mailed a few people this morning who I knew didnt to see what they were doing, and one of them has just told me that the lad who had qualified has agreed to sell him the tickets way above face value...( if it is a £54 ticket it will be over five times more)

I have just called to see if it is true and he has.....so I told him what I thought, and he has just given me a right mouthful...basically saying he can do what he likes and anyway, if he sold it on ebay he could get over a grand

what a complete t***

i wouldnt mind if he was on his a***, but he is well off and i mean well off...

I half feel like telling the club but I dont think I will.....

a mate of mine has done that also, I asked if he any spares he said he probably did but has been offered £150 plus for a ticket, so I told to him to stick it.

Aye.

It's one thing to sell it at an inflated price to some anonymous f***** (not that I agree with that either) it's another to openly rape a mate.

Really suprised how many ST holders are doing this

I'd made up my mind that if i had a spare i was going to offer it at face value on here to someone who had failed in the ballot

And that would probably have been someone who i had never met before

Just shows how stupid it was to just stick everyone in the ballot, they should have made it harder for people to get tickets

Great point. One of the lads who qualified yesterday has found out this morning that his boss won't let him have the time off. He phoned one of the lads who was unsuccessful and said, "There's my fancard number and details, just make sure you get me a programme". That, IMO, is the way it should be done, not just to your mates but to any genuine Red.

I actually know a tout whose been doing it your years and basically that's his job (makes a fortune out of it and lives in a massive house in Hightown). I've heard he has access to over 60+ Season tickets and fancards and would have qualified for everyone given that he sells packages to the Irish lads coming over (Hotel, flight, ticket etc) for league, cup, CL games, aways) so qualifying wouldn't have been a problem.

He reckons this will be his biggest payday. He doesn't give a sh*t as he says it's business. He does the big concerts, boxing - basically anything. He's banking on an average £500 a ticket F*ckin parasite who'd better watch his back.

I didn't get one and am absolutely gutted. so givin it a miss now. Who ever goes - enjoy.

In fairness, he (the boss) wasn't being a c*nt about it, it's because of a project they're working on and the lad is one of their top technical boys. Unfortunately his technical credentials are now working against him :D .

Know he's your mate and that but I hope he tries to sell those tickets at a mad price to the sort of fella who won't take too kindly to being ripped off by one of his own.

He doesn't actually sell them himself. Gives then to his henchmen who do the transaction usually backed up my 2 or 3 very handy lads. I agree with you I hope he gets a good dig and the tickets somehow find there way into the hands of proper fans. Used to be a mate but an out and out scumbag nowadays. I had to laugh when he said he'd need protection - no brainer that one.

yes of course. i should qualify my point by saying that under no circumstances can you ever fleece a mate.

My old man was saying that there was a fella who got filled in outside Wembley in '65 for trying to sell spares outside at inflated 60s prices. Apparently some grock just decked him, took his tickets off him and then dished 'em out there and then to fans.

Can't see that happening over there but a nice thought :D

What's the fella's name and where is this house?

There's someone dodgy who lives round the corner from me, and we've always wondered where his money comes from.

Come on. You don't honestly expect me to answer that.

It happened outside Wembley when we played Wimbledon. One cockney tout and his three minders hit simulaneously by about 20 fists from all angles. Tickets taken, handed out and then the rest thrown in the air for a mad scramble to begin. Excellent result as I had a Wimbledon end forgery at the time.
