Has anyone been? Is there any point going when it's not in the ski season?

We have a couple of days after a conference in Vancouver to fill. Our other option is to go to Victoria (on vancouver island).

The ladies I'm travelling want luxury for not a lot of money :rolleyes: I can find plenty of 3* hotels in Victoria but nothing so special. Whistler have fab hotels for not a lot of money but we'd be up the side of a mountain as opposed to on a nice harbour + island...

 

The Westin & Hilton have great deals via hotel.com -

 

so Whistler or Victoria???
