Once that went west, plan B was a horribly basic approach of hoofing the ball in the general direction of Didier Drogba and crossing fingers that these scraps would lead to a feast.

Poor piece of journalism. He's merely copied an article from 2 years back and replaced " Huth " with " Didier Drogba "

but, but, he threw on wright-philips and robben. it's tactical genius when it works against spurs. the only piece of plan B brilliance missing was moving essien to right-back. oooh he is clever.

You can get away with comments like he makes while you're winning. When you're not winning you look absolutely ridiculous.

But it was similar to 2 years ago. He has little depth to his tactical approach with Chelsea (I think he did far better with Porto when a lot of their team were unknown).

He stayed with his plan for 90 minutes plus then seemed have little idea of how to change the flow of the game in extra time. Fair play to him that he invested his faith in his starting line up ? after all its done for most of the year ?but you need a bit more when you run into teams that are matching you or beating you. He didn?t have that.
