Anyone here had a phone call from

A phone call on the answer machine, the guy, Simon ? said it was a free phone number 0800517733 and to do a 1471 and press 5 if I didn't catch the number.

Well 1471 showed the number to be 08000517733, so I am guessing scam. Quick search on web said it was a Simon Hubbard saying he can save you the last 6 years of bank charges and to call a free phone number yada yada. Anyone else heard of it?.
