Scally Bob Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 God I hope they get beat. Whoppers from Folkestone and Hereford singing Ring of Fire and calling our Captain "Stevie G" when they spend most of their miserable lives telling hubcap "jokes".
Falconhoof Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Its the 'barmy army' cricket lot that ripped it off first, inevitable that the pitbull owning, s*n reading, block paving installers would pick it up. Hate England, I hope English scousers elect to play for the USA or Ireland, Canada or somewhere in future.
cliff p Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 some one needs to shove that trumpet somewhere so that he does have a ring of fire..................... c****
Gomez Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Woeful performance by the engerland team tonight, can't beleive muppets like Hoddle and Redknapp had the gaul to make excuses for him. Our two boys were the best on the pitch by some distance though, still probably no chance of either of them getting a game in their best positions though.

If SM optimizes his team Stevie needs to play on one of the wings....
Archangel Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Nothing wrong with England fans in the main Some good some bad some indifferent There seems to be this idea that if you follow your national side your betraying Liverpool , weird especially as the one lad who bleeds scouse openly admits that he'd play anywhere to get into an England team - i'm talking jamie here by the way Time to get off that high f***ing horse and wind yer neck in I'd say

I don't give a toss about the national side as long as our lads comeback uninjured.
Guest Sabre Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Halesowen Town fans were singing it today! Very odd.
JohnnyH Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 wales fans sang it for a short while at Croke Park yesterday also.

Same for manc fans. To be honest i couldnt give a s*** if internationals were completely scrapped, all they do is disjoint the national season, i dont mind the summer tourneys just for the pi55 up. The fact is the champions league is by far the hardest and most competitve competition in the world anyway including the world cup. I HATE ENGLAND. Edited March 25, 2007 by ziggystardust

floyd Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Yeah, cos we own that tune.Let's all start singing, God Save the Queen, at Anfield then.
jon_hall Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Gets sung at English cricket matches. Well it did in the summer of 2005 at The Old Trafford Ashes test, but that might have been purely to wind up any mancs. As if...
Cobs Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 let's all start singing 'Barmy Army' at Anfield then, that'll learn 'em...
Big E Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 We are the barmy, Anny Road army. We are mental, and we are mad. we are the loyalist football supporters, the world has ever had!
berdoing Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Scousers are very insular, let's not forget that.
Scally Bob Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 It's an old argument all this, but I don't dislike Ingerlund because I think it's a cool thing to do. I wouldn't want to be in amongst a bunch of S*n reading, Soccer AM seal-clapping beauts but that's only part of it. I just cannot understand how anybody could actually sit/stand there and cheer on the likes of Neville, Lampard, Ferdinand or Rooney. I just could not do it. How do all the whoppers from Reading/Watford/West Ham etc. justify giving Gerrard abuse when he takes a corner at the Anny Road then call him "Stevie G" when he plays for Ingerlund? And the media bias and London-centric angle has always made me feel that we don't belong there anyway. They don't want us, hence the concerted effort to get Gerrard to Chelsea. The media has never given the City or our Club deserved credit and any reference to us is usually delivered with a snide remark. It's not my team so I want them to lose.
